Mark Pelley, who is known as a snake hunter, is currently showing signs of recovery following an unfortunate accident while he was trying to catch a tiger snake.
His equipment broke during the incident, and the animal latched onto his hand.
Pelley, who has been a snake catcher for 14 years, was bitten for the first time in his career. He was rushed to the ICU and later moved to a different ward.
According to his daughter, Aishah, his condition has started to improve.
Aishah thanked the people for their kind words and generosity and noted that her father was able to leave the ICU and move to a different ward. She said that there is still a long way to go yet.
In an Instagram post, Ms. Pelley thanked the doctors and nurses who looked after her father. She also noted that he was starting to smile again.
While Mr Pelley is recovering, Ms. Pelley is looking after her grandmother and three sisters. She followed in her father’s footsteps by becoming a snake catcher.
