This week, the man who filmed Prince William and Kate Middleton as they visited a farm shop hit back at trolls who have questioned the authenticity of the video.
He claims that they should stop spreading lies about the princess.
Nelson Silva, the man who captured the moment, noted that despite the viral nature of the video, many people are still invested in the royal family’s drama.
He said he had no idea that rumors about Middleton’s health were swirling around when he saw her at the Windsor Farm Shop on Saturday afternoon.
According to Silva, the video showing the two royals walking together should have put to bed the rumors about Middleton’s health.
Instead, it only fuelled the speculations about a possible hoax. Some people believe that the woman in the video was a stunt double for Kate, while others think that it was taken months earlier.
Engineer Silva, who lives in Windsor, said that he was not surprised by the trolls’ claims about the video.
He noted that it was clear that the couple was enjoying themselves as they walked around the farm shop. He said that he saw the couple perusing the meat and bread sections of the store.
Silva noted that the couple appeared to be having a lot of fun while they were at the farm shop. They started walking toward the fields and then through the parking area. He then took the video for a couple of seconds, and before Prince William could see them, he turned off the camera. It was then reported that the royal’s husband was furious with how the press treated his wife.
According to Silva, various internet personalities and influencers have decided to continue spreading conspiracy theories based on his video, even after seeing the princess in good health.
