A shocking incident was caught on camera as a woman sitting on a kerb near a shopping center in Perth was run over by a three-ton ute.
The incident happened on February 19. Surveillance footage showed Christine Moore, who was 40 years old at that time, sitting in front of a Chevrolet Silverado as its occupants climbed inside.
The two men appear oblivious to the fact that Christine was on the road. As the ute inches forward, it drags her along the asphalt and traps her underneath the vehicle.
One of the tires then crushes her before the Chevrolet driver stops.
The driver then drives off. The wheel of the vehicle hits Christine’s head. According to her, she believes she had an “angel” on her shoulder because she shouldn’t have been there.
She suffered multiple broken bones and was left with scarring on her chest and arm.
The driver stopped and immediately provided first aid to Christine after realizing what had happened.
According to the police, she was drinking alcohol at a licensed establishment at around 10 pm on February 10 when she was asked to leave.
A spokesperson for the company said that Christine had entered the laneway between Walter Road West and the parking area of the shopping center.
While she was lying in front of the Chevrolet truck, the owner of the vehicle drove away.
However, Christine maintained that she was not drinking alcohol and had not been approached by the police.
