In her upcoming memoir, Rebel Wilson accused comedian and actor, Sacha Baron Cohen, of leaking footage from his film, The Brothers Grimsby, in 2016.
According to the actress, Cohen had sexually harassed her during one of the scenes.
A video published by the Daily Mail showed Wilson seemingly supporting the scene.
In the video, Wilson can be heard telling Cohen that she would slap him and that she would do the same to him.
Cohen responds by saying that it’s like they’re going to “ram your fingers inside.”
Daily Mail claimed that Wilson was both confident and engaged in the scene.
Wilson claimed that the video was edited and shared without context.
She also stated that she was disgusted by the scene and refused to stick her finger up at Cohen’s butt. She called the release of the footage an “a**hole move.”
According to Wilson, the video was not made for the film due to the absence of director Louis Leterrier.
She also stated that the release of the footage was misleading and was the latest example of how the SBC bullied her.
In her book, Wilson talked about her time working with Cohen.
During the promotion of her memoir, Wilson stated that Cohen was the reason she had a no-a**holes policy with people she worked with.
Cohen’s spokesperson responded to the allegations and stated that they were completely contradicted by eyewitness accounts and film footage.
Wilson claimed that Cohen had hired a PR firm and an attorney to stop the press from reporting about her new book.
