Danielle Whittaker, who was a trusting and passionate individual, died on Good Friday after overdosing on drugs.
She was celebrating her 40th birthday with six of her closest friends on the Gold Coast.
She suffered from cardiac arrest and died despite the efforts of paramedics.
Two of her companions were also taken to the hospital. Whittaker’s friends have paid tribute to her on her social media accounts.

According to Mitch Ware, a Queensland Ambulance Service inspector, seven people were at the Surfers Paradise location when emergency services were called at around 11 pm on Friday. A 40-year-old female was declared dead at the scene, while two others were taken to the Gold Coast hospital.
Upon reaching the scene, three of the seven patients were in critical condition, while one of them was in cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of the paramedics, the patient was not able to be revived.
