In an interview with The Standard, Love claimed that there’s too much music being made about successful women, as they are all cloned.
According to Love, people tend to get bombarded with similar songs whenever they play on Spotify.
Love stated that Swift isn’t important to her, as she may be a safe space for women, but she doesn’t have a lot of interesting qualities as an artist.
She also claimed that Olivia Rodrigo’s promo for her prom queen song copied the “Live Through This” album by Del Rey, who was the headline act at the festival.
Love stated that she doesn’t like Lana Del Rey since she covered a song by John Denver, and she has stopped listening to her due to how she was affecting her.
The actress and the widow of Kurt Cobain also stated that she doesn’t like Beyonce’s new album, which explores the relationship between race and country music.
Love stated that she approves of Beyonce’s new country record as it’s about African-American women going into traditionally white spaces.
However, she doesn’t like her music. She also clapped back at Jann Wenner after he was removed from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s board due to his controversial comments about Black musicians.
According to Love, Wenner should be let go because the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame is a joke, as an individual can get their entire career ruined after being accused of trying to kiss a girl.
Courtney Love stated that Jann Wenner was being hypocritical when he claimed that African-American women and people were not intelligent enough to be considered for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
