A man reportedly drowned at Torquay Beach in Victoria’s south-east on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to the beach at around 10.15am after reports that a man had been found in the water.
People tried to revive him, but they were unsuccessful.
The man died at the beach. It’s not clear if the death is suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the coroner, and the man’s identity hasn’t been officially confirmed.
