Nat Barr, the host of the Sunrise program, will spend Mother’s Day in Canberra with her youngest son Hunter.
She said she was looking forward to seeing him, who is currently studying.
She and her husband Andrew Thompson have another son named Lachlan, 22 years old.
Barr said she wanted to spend time with her kids and noted that it was important to spend time with them.
She also said she would attend the Coffee Club with other mothers. Newsreader Edwina said she wanted to have a hot meal and coffee on Mother’s Day instead of a spa day.
According to Bowen, most people are planning on spending around $100 on their mother’s gift this year, which is an increase from last year.
Some of the most popular items on the list are flowers, Champagne, and good food.
In February, Barr wrote a column about becoming an empty-nester and her experiences as a mother.
On 7NEWS.com.au, Barr said that the house has started to feel quiet after years of being filled with noise and sweat.
She also noted that her sons are men, and the wise words of their elders have stuck with her.
It used to feel like life was full of wonder and excitement, but now it’s starting to feel like it’s tiring and frustrating.
One of the main changes that she is experiencing is the upcoming move of her youngest son, who is going to university.
It’s hard to believe that “Phase 1” of the journey has already passed, and that we will never get it back.
However, she is still holding on to the positive aspects of the experience. She hopes that her kids are ready for the next phase of their life.
