A number of tributes have been paid to Seini Fale’aka Taumoepeau, a radio presenter for ABC Pacific who died suddenly at the age of 48.

She was a singer and presenter from Tonga who also went by the name “SistaNative.”

The station paid tribute to her on its Facebook page. She will be remembered as a passionate artist and an advocate for Pasifika communities.

She began her career with ABC Radio Australia when she was 13 years old.

She later became the host of the Pacific Mornings, which was the station’s first program dedicated to the region.

In her final message before stepping down from her role, she said she hoped that the organization would replace her with a number of individuals who were more knowledgeable about the Pacific’s heritage.

On May 29, it was announced that she had died.

She had been a well-known figure in the community for her dedication to the stories of Indigenous Oceania.

A statement from the Queensland Gallery of Art also stated that it was deeply saddened by her death.

In her Facebook page, her family stated that she had suddenly moved on from her earthly life.

She was a caring and loving person who helped create the soundtracks of many people’s lives. They also asked people who could not donate to help her family.
