In her new memoir, Australian actress Rebel Wilson revealed that she was fat-shamed while she was working with Sacha Baron Cohen on the set of his movie, “Grimsby.”
Her claims have caused a lot of controversy. According to her, the comedian crossed the line and she found his behavior disgusting.
During a radio interview, Rebel Wilson revealed that working with Cohen was the worst experience of her professional life.
She said that he crossed the line and degraded her due to how she looked. In 2016, Cohen’s movie, “Grimsby,” featured Rebel as his partner Dawn Grobham.
In her memoir, Wilson accused Cohen of forcing her to have sex and put pressure on her to wear clothes that made her look incredibly unattractive.
She also stated that even though she initially reported the incident, it didn’t go away.
Wilson stated that she felt that she could no longer leave the movie due to how she felt that she was being labeled as an unprofessional person.
However, she added that she doesn’t regret talking about her experience with Cohen because it helped other people.
The allegations against the comedian came to light after she claimed that his legal team threatened her.
On March 15, Wilson took to Instagram to share her thoughts on how people initially thought that she had a no-a**hole policy when she first arrived in Hollywood.
She then noted that after working with a massive a**hole, she had a policy in place.
Cohen has reportedly hired a crisis PR firm and a couple of lawyers to try and prevent the media from talking about his alleged misconduct.
However, according to Wilson, her book will be out soon and will contain the truth.
