In February, the driver of a car lost control and crashed into a tree in Western Australia, killing the two young girls inside.

The incident happened on the Great Eastern Highway near the town of Carrabin.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 11 am.

Upon reaching the scene, the police stated that the car, a white Toyota Camry, left the road and hit a tree.

Two little girls, who were seven years old at that time, died.

The driver, who was a 31-year old woman from the Halls Head area, was taken to a hospital for treatment.

On Sunday, she was charged with causing death by careless driving.

Following the tragic incident, the distraught mother shared her grief on social media.

She said that she had no words to describe how she felt about her lost daughters, adding that she is ‘struggling’ after losing her ‘precious girls.’
