According to a post-mortem examination, Michael Mosley, a British television doctor who went missing while on holiday in Greece, most likely died due to natural causes.
He was last seen walking along a coastal path on the island of Symi at around noon on Wednesday.
His body was discovered on the rocky terrain near a beach bar on Sunday morning. It was the end of the four-day search for the missing doctor.
However, a police official said that the coroner on the island could not determine the cause of death.
A spokesperson for the Greek police told the BBC that the initial post-mortem examination had not found any injuries that could have caused the death of the doctor.
According to the report, the father of four most likely died at around 4 pm on the day he went missing.
Medical sources told the newspaper Proto Thema that it could be difficult to determine the exact cause of death due to the condition of his body.
However, it is believed that he died while he was resting.
His body was discovered near a beach bar in the village of Pedi and close to the area where he was last seen walking.
Mosley was last seen walking along the coastal path near the Agios Nikolaos beach, which was where a private boat was filming.
According to the mayor of Symi, Mosley was around 10 to 15 meters away from the sea when he was discovered.
He was found lying face-up next to a fence. A police source said that the doctor had been dead for several days.
According to the police commander of Symi, Michael Mosley died due to heat exhaustion.
He said that the doctor likely died after walking from St. Nikolos to the Agia Marina.
