A debate has erupted online after a mom from a frugal family revealed that she charges other parents for the items that her kids consume while they’re at her home for a playdate.

The mom, who goes by the name of Brianna Weimar, listed off various items that she charges other parents, such as snacks and soap.

The woman, who is from Monroe, Washington, was reportedly in a heated argument after sending another mom a $36 Venmo request. She was then thanked for her hospitality.

According to her, the parents were furious and confused. They said they would no longer send their kids to the house.

She then explained how she made a spreadsheet to ensure that her prices were even and fair.

Although she had a disagreement with one of the parents, she noted that the payment was made.

She listed off various items that she charged other parents, such as snacks, drinks, electricity, and cleaning fees.

Explaining her bill, Brianna noted that food had become so expensive that she had to regularly refill her kids’ snacks.

She also kept a detailed spreadsheet containing the snacks and other supplies that her kids consume on a regular basis. She then calculated the cost of each item.

For example, she calculated how many ounces of soap each pump contains. She then divided the cost of the product by the number of ounces.

Brianna noted that she had previously been charged by another household member, but this occurred due to her son’s unfortunate accident.

Her explanation and video of the incident have been viewed over three million times online.

Some people thought it was a joke and that it was on the mom to host the playdate.

Others said that her bookkeeping method was the ideal way to end their child’s friendships.
