Peter Dutton, the federal opposition leader, has responded to the media storm that his son Tom created after a photo of him was posted on Snapchat with the caption “birthday treat.” The image showed Tom Dutton holding a bag that was reportedly filled with white powder.
*It is not suggested that drugs were involved.
Tom, who was wearing a white T-shirt, was holding a bag while facing the camera.
After the Daily Telegraph published the picture, Mr Dutton’s office released a statement regarding the issue.
It said that the photo was a private matter for the family. The picture was first posted on Tom’s Snapchat account and was later removed.
The original screenshot was shared by one of the recipients. Mr Dutton has two sons, Harry and Tom, with his wife, Kirilly, and his daughter, Rebecca, from a past relationship.
In an interview with ABC, he said that his strict parenting style was influenced by his years as a law enforcer.
During the interview, Mr Dutton discussed the various issues that he has faced as a father, such as the tragic cases involving the abduction and assault of children.
He also said that he would not allow his kids to use the public toilets.
He additionally criticized the new drug laws introduced by the ACT.
In September, he claimed that the ACT government was actively promoting the use of illegal drugs by allowing more substances to enter the territory.
He noted that these include drugs such as heroin, cocaine, and ice. As a law enforcer, he had to deal with various issues, such as sexual assault and murders.
He then became the minister for home affairs.
Since he became a minister, many people have only seen parts of him.
He said that he hoped that the public would now be able to see his other side after he moved from his tough portfolio.
He noted that he had never forgotten where he came from and that he would never change his values.
