Louisa Gummer, the daughter of Meryl Streep, came out as gay on Instagram. She captioned a carousel that featured a message about the start of a new era of lesbian fashion.
She also included an emoji for the rainbow flag.
Some of the photos featured a Victorian painting that depicted Sappho’s love for women, and another showed graffiti that read “live.laugh.lesbian.”
Gummer’s girlfriend, Anna Blundell, also appeared in some of the pictures.
Their relationship was reportedly unveiled in December 2023.
At that time, she captioned a selfie that resembled one of the images that Gummer posted.
Actress Gummer, who appeared in the TV series The Gilded Age, referred to herself as “OMFG ILYSM.”
On her mother’s 75th birthday, Gummer came out as gay. People commenting on her Instagram post praised the LGBTQ community.
In October 2023, it was revealed that Streep and her husband, Don, had separated for over six years.
The actress’ spokesperson said that the couple would always care for each other, but they have chosen to separate.
