A young woman from Melbourne died while she was flying on a Qantas flight to India.
Manpreet Kaur was supposed to meet her family for the first time in four years when she flew to Delhi on June 20. Unfortunately, she never made it.
A friend said that the student, who was 24, felt ill before she boarded the plane. However, she was still able to get on the flight.
While she was putting on her seatbelt, she accidentally fell and died. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to help her.
According to Gurdip Grewal, her friend, she had a hard time putting on her seatbelt. She then fell and died shortly before the flight started.
It was reported that she most likely died due to tuberculosis, which affects the lungs.
Kuldeep, her roommate, said that she was a kind and honest person who had dreams of becoming a chef.
She was scheduled to return to India to visit her parents for the very first time since she moved to Australia in 2020.
A GoFundMe page has been established to help the family of Manpreet Kaur.
The page acknowledges her loss and asks for support in helping her relatives during this difficult time.
The goal of the campaign is to reach the amount needed to help Manpreet’s family.
