Thomas Frith, an Australian pilot, died while he was flying in Canada’s Northwest Territories to help fight wildfires. He was killed on June 28 when his helicopter crashed close to Fort Good Hope Airport.
His company, Great Slave Helicopters, released a statement about his death.
The company said it was deeply saddened by the loss of Frith, who was an experienced pilot.
He was killed while he was helping fight the wildfires near Fort Hope.
He had previously worked on the survival show Alone.
Due to the wildfires, thousands of people had been evacuated.
Frith’s colleagues praised his courage and dedication during the fire-fighting operation
. They also said that they will remember him for his love and smile.
Frith, who was from Queensland, Australia, was in Canada with his family for a couple of years.
His friends and colleagues from the show Alone US paid tribute to him online.
Many of them also posted their condolences to his family.
