Although his words got muddled up, Biden was referring to Judge Ketanji Brown-Jackson, the woman he appointed to the court.

The White House quickly responded to his mistake and defended him. Press Secretary Jean-Pierre had to defend him several times.
According to her, Biden is still as sharp as ever. She noted that he has to be at his best when he enters the White House or sees Trump on Air Force One.
