Former Liberal staff member Brittany Higgins is expecting her first baby with husband David Sharaz, she announced on Instagram. She said she was excited to be a mother.
The news came after the couple got married on the Gold Coast, in June.

The couple got engaged on New Year’s Eve, 2022, at the Cape Byron Lighthouse in NSW.
This year, a judge ruled that Bruce Lehrmann, who was the former staff member of Senator Linda Reynolds, sexually assaulted Higgins in her office.
In response, Lehrmann denied the allegations and has appealed against the judge’s findings.
The couple moved to southern France in December.
