An 11-year-old boy from Queensland died after he was hit by a school bus while he was riding his bike on the Sunshine Coast.
According to his family, his spirit touched the hearts of everyone he met. Gurmantar was critically injured when he was hit on Jingellic Drive at around 3.45 pm on Tuesday.
The boy, who was identified as Gurmantar, was taken to a hospital on the Sunshine Coast. He later died.
It’s believed that he was only around 50 meters from his home when the accident happened.
His family will be holding a funeral for him on Friday at Buderim.
In a statement, the boy’s family said that Gurmantar was taken away from them in an accident.
Although he was only with them for a short time, his spirit was still able to touch the hearts of everyone he met, and his family will remember him for the love and joy he brought into their lives.
