Although she gained fame after starring on The Bachelor, Abbie Chatfield’s political views also helped her become a household name.

The 29-year-old stated that she would probably might pursue a career in politics due to how tired she is.

She stated that she might run for office if FBoy Island doesn’t return for season 3.

The media personality noted that her political beliefs began when she was a child, as she didn’t have men in her home.

According to her, some of her friends who lived in more traditional households think that it’s normal for women to get dirty after dinner.

She also stated that her mother, who was a progressive woman, would often criticize women’s treatment in the news.

She claimed that her Bachelor experience improved her ability to debate. She also stated that certain aspects of Australia, such as Medicare, are generally right.

However, she claimed that the country gets wrong when it comes to issues such as racism and the Indigenous Voice referendum of 2023.

According to Chatfield, there is a lot that needs to be done to combat this issue, such as increasing the number of people who are educated about it on social media.

She noted that there is still a lot of work to be done, but people are starting to have positive conversations.

After starring in The Bachelor in 2019, she started her own podcast and appeared on shows such as I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! and FBoy Island.
