David Banda, 18, the son of Madonna, said he resorted to scavenging after moving out of his mother’s house.
According to the New York Post, he enjoys the experience, as he doesn’t have enough money to purchase food on his own. He also noted that he felt hungry at night because of his situation.
In The Bronx, Banda lives and works as a guitar instructor. His new life seems far removed from the lavish lifestyle that his mother, who is reportedly worth over $850 million, has.
He reportedly charges around $200 for lessons, which he can book through his Instagram page. He also claims that his mother is not single and is currently “dating a guy.” Banda, who is one of the six children of Madonna, also confirmed that he has worked as a model.
It was reported that the pop star was close to boxer Richard Riakporhe, who is 34 years old. However, Banda denied these rumors. He claims that they are just friends.
During her ongoing tour, Madonna has featured four of her children on stage.
In an interview with W magazine, the pop star said that her kids have learned a lot about working hard and pursuing their dreams.
She also noted that if they choose something different in life, they will remember this experience for a long time.
