The heartbroken wife of a man who was killed in a motorcycle and car crash south of Sydney on Friday has urged other drivers to think about their actions before they get behind the wheel.

Hayden Selby, 31, was killed at around 4.10pm on the M1 motorway near Mount Ousley.

It’s believed that a 24-year old woman was driving the car that crashed into the motorcycle of Selby, causing him to die.

He was reportedly helping a friend move when the accident occurred.

His wife, Katie, mum of 11, said that before he died, he told his friend to drive safely and take care of everyone around him.

A few hours after she didn’t hear from her husband, Katie said she started to worry.

She then got a call from his friend, who told her about the accident.

The next day, she dropped off her kids at school and found herself in a state of confusion.

Due to the accident, their 8-month-old daughter will never get to know her father.

According to his wife, Hayden was a kind and gentle giant who would do anything for anyone. He was also known to protect his friends.

He would do anything for his family and friends.

As a result, Katie is urging other drivers to be more careful around their cars and trailers.

She also said that those who don’t understand the rules should stop driving.

To help the family with funeral expenses, she has set up a Go Fund Me page

In her post, she stated that she wanted to give her husband what he deserved and asked for help in putting him to rest.

However, due to the investigations, she did not know when she would be able to do so.
