During the 1980s, she operated a microbus around Japan to promote Australia to tourists as part of a PR campaign for the country.

She also helped Japanese companies working in the country by providing bilingual services. According to Artemis Media, she was an incredibly talented and beloved individual.

In a statement, the company noted that they had worked with Eastwood on various projects over the years.

She was 62 years old and was a force in the industry. Some of her most notable television appearances included Who Do You Think You are?, Every Family Has a Secret, and Desperately Seeking Sheila.

Eastwood worked with various prominent Australian actors, such as Geoffrey Rush, Toni Collette, Jacki Weaver, and Susie Porter.
