A magnitude 3.7 earthquake occurred in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt region last night.

According to geophysicists, the epicenter of the tremor was near the town of Wyalkatchem, which is about 192 kilometers east of Perth.

Residents of the region reported feeling the ground moving.

There were also multiple reports of strong earthquakes that occurred in the region last night.

One of these was a magnitude 2.6 earthquake that occurred at around 6 pm.

Another earthquake with a magnitude of 2.2 happened at around 2 am Friday.
