At a race meeting held in Ballarat, two jockeys were rushed to hospital after getting injured. One of them is in a critical condition.

Lee Horner and Will Gordon were injured during the sixth race of the Ecycle Solutions Grand Jumps Day.

Due to the weather conditions at that time, Mr. Horner, who is currently in his 30s and is from Ballarat, was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

According to a report by the steward, Sky Hero, which was one of the horses that fell, was brought down by Mighty Oasis.

Two other horses died earlier, and Mr. Gordon was taken to a hospital for treatment.

His horse, known as Bell Ex One, also fell due to the incident involving Mighty Oasis.

An examination of the horse revealed that it had a problem with its off foreleg.

Two of the horses that fell were later found to have lame legs. They required medical clearance to race.

In addition, one of the animals reportedly made an unusual respiratory noise. Both Cillin Leonard and Edward Keating were dislodged from their horses.
