In a recent interview, Grant Denyer opened up about his battle with low self-esteem. The Australian television personality said that he still had difficulty looking in the mirror.

Denyer, who is 46 years old, also confessed that he sometimes avoided getting photographed.

As a slightly smaller man, Denyer said that he was often targeted by bullies.

He noted that girls did not like him because he wasn’t a big, buff sports guy.

He also said that looking in the mirror was like “sucking razorblades.”

He said that his condition was partly caused by perfectionism, and it would get worse as he would never be happy with his achievements.

Even though he won a Gold Logie award in 2018, he still felt that his self-esteem was not improving.

Denyer noted that he had to work hard to overcome his issues. In 2022, he opened up about his use of meditation and his busy mind on Instagram.

He said that he found it helpful to relieve stress and keep his mind focused on the positive.

In 2018, he opened up about his condition and how it affected his life. He noted that he would often get bogged down by fear and would sometimes beat himself up.

That year, he won the Dancing With The Stars competition.

He said that he had spent most of his life being a television personality who would pretend that everything was fine.

Denyer was visibly emotional as he danced to the song “Don’t Give Up.”

He said that it was fine to go through hard times, as long as you find help and love.

He noted that he had managed to get through the challenges that he faced.
