Christmas preparations have already begun at Coles, with some of its holiday-themed items being stocked up in stores across the country.
A Sydney branch of the company was able to display a variety of Christmas puddings and fruit mince pies earlier this week.
The company noted that it quietly sent out the goods to various locations last week to give customers an early start on their purchases.
The company noted that its timing is similar to previous years.
In July, it launched its first batch of Christmas pastries for customers residing in the eastern seaboard. A spokesperson for the company noted that its customers tend to eat its various offerings in the run-up
to Christmas. In fact, last year, about half of the fruit mince pies sold out before December.
Customers can start their Christmas shopping early and save money by getting their hands on some of the company’s various Christmas pastries, including a traditional pudding and fruit mince pies.
These items are currently available in different flavors and prices.
The profit of Coles was reported last week, and it was attributed to various factors, such as online sales and seasonal campaigns.
In addition, it noted that its customers bought more than 1.5 million packs of fruit mince pies and 500,000 puddings before Christmas last year.
Despite the high cost of food and other expenses, the company is still expecting its customers to spend more on Christmas gifts this year.
