Chad McQueen, who played the role of the titular character in the Karate Kid movies, died on Wednesday at his ranch in California.
According to his attorney Arthur Barens, the 63-year-old actor died due to organ failure.
He was reportedly surrounded by his children, Madison and Chase, and his wife, Jeanie.
He was reportedly injured years before, which caused him to develop progressive organ failure.
He played the role of Dutch in the first movie released in 1984.
He then reprised his part in the follow-up film in 1986.
It was previously reported that he would be returning to the franchise in the upcoming season of Cobra Kai, but his lawyer stated that he would not be joining the cast.
