The Vaucluse home of radio personality Kyle Sandilands was surrounded by about 30 police officers and a dog squad in the middle of the night after reports of a break-in.

According to the 53-year-old, he was woken up at around 2:00 am by his security, which alerted him about intruders.

He immediately realized that the officers were looking for criminals after hearing about several break-ins in the area.

On his radio show on Tuesday, Kyle informed listeners that there had been several break-ins on his side of the street, and that there were some “end-of-town” individuals residing in his neighborhood.

He then joked about his status as the “brokenst b***h” on the street, before revealing that one of the individuals who had been targeted was the owner of the online delivery company DoorDash.

According to Kyle, the police officers had been jumping over the fences with their dogs.

He said that it was “pandemonium” as they were surrounded by about 30 law enforcers.

NSW Police confirmed that they were called to the scene after reports of a break-in at Coolong Road, Vaucluse.

They were told that two men were seen walking on the property.
