Chadwer Leah, who went missing in Melbourne’s CBD before his body was recovered in the Yarra River, was described as a cheerful and gentle soul.

His family launched a search for him after he got separated from his group of friends over the weekend.

It’s believed that the 22-year-old from Clyde North was in Melbourne over the weekend before going to a nightclub with his group.

He then vanished after leaving the establishment. He was reportedly seen behaving strangely outside the venue.

It’s believed that Leah was last seen near Bourke St., and police say he jumped into the river at around 3 am on Monday. He was eventually pulled out of the water by emergency services.

According to his friends, they were devastated by the death of Mr. Leah, who was described as an outgoing and cheerful individual. He was known for his sweet and gentle personality.

One of his former classmates at Mordialloc College, Teasha Ah- Young, said that he had many friends he kept in touch with after he left the institution.

Ms. Ah-Young noted that his death had left a huge hole in the community, and he was known for bringing a smile to everyone around him.

He was reportedly the eldest sibling of eight, and he played a significant role in raising his sisters and brothers.

According to Ms.Skye Farris-White, who is a friend of Mr. Leah, he was her first friend when she moved to Melbourne around ten years ago.

She noted that he was known for his infectious smile and was always laughing. He was a source of joy for everyone around him.

She added that he never showed anger or resentment towards anyone. He was a source of joy for everyone around him.

She fondly recalled the time when she and Mr. Leah went to school together and played basketball. An online fundraiser for him has already raised over $20,000.

His relatives and friends went to various businesses in the central business district to look for information about his location and CCTV.

They also used social media to appeal for help. Leah’s cause of death is yet to be determined, and police are conducting an investigation.
