The Australian music community is mourning the loss of Jack Colwell, a talented singer-songwriter who died this week at the age of 34.
He self-funded his music and worked as a teacher, composer, choirmaster, and musical director for many years.
In 2015, he released his debut single, “Don’t Cry Those Tears.”
Jack’s debut album, Swandream, was released in 2020.
His death was confirmed on Thursday.
His friends and colleagues from the music industry are mourning his loss.
One of his collaborators, Sarah Blasko, posted a message on Instagram about how Jack was one of a kind.
A week ago, Jack announced on his social media page that he was working on a new album.
He noted that the album would be released soon.
