The storm is expected to hit the Florida coast on Wednesday.
It’s expected to cause severe damage to areas that were hit by Hurricane Helene a couple of days ago.
It was upgraded to a Category 5 hurricane on Tuesday afternoon.
Although it previously had been downgraded to a Category 4 hurricane, the storm’s powerful winds have now strengthened it to a Category 5.
According to the latest update from the National Hurricane Center, the hurricane is currently moving toward the east-northeast and has sustained wind speeds reaching 165 kilometers per hour.
Over a million people have been asked to leave their homes.
Six million more people have also been put under a hurricane-watch warning.
