The stars of Home and Away have paid tribute to Bruce Murray, who passed away due to his illness. He was a coworker and friend of the show’s cast.
In 2017, it was reported that Bruce had been diagnosed with four oesophageal cancer.
According to the organizers of a Gofundme page set up for Bruce, the cancer had entered his bones and formed multiple tumors.
Some of the actors who contributed to the Gofundme page included former and current cast members of the show, such as Ada Nicodemou, Jessica Tovey, and Matt Little.
Other contributions included those made by the show’s staff members and producers. The page was able to raise over $50,000 for Bruce’s medical expenses.
It has been reported that Bruce passed away earlier this week. His colleagues and fellow crew members of the show have paid tribute to him on Instagram.
Some of them included Emily Weir, who portrays Mackenzie Booth. Sarah Roberts, who used to be a cast member, also praised Bruce.
One of the reasons I loved working on Home and Away was Bruce’s ability to make everyone laugh. His colleagues have also posted tributes to him on their social media accounts.
Laura Vazquez, the show’s head of hair and makeup, said that she will miss Bruce very much.
Over the years, Bruce had worked in the television industry in Australia. He had worked on shows such as All Saints and Home and Away.
He also worked on other shows such as Good News Week and Above The Law.
