A tragic incident occurred at a camping site in Victoria over the weekend, as a tree fell on top of a vehicle, killing a man named Alex Oates.
He was with a friend at the time of the accident, which happened at around 3 am on Saturday at the Kevington campground.
In a statement, the family of Alex said that he was a beautiful soul who would do anything for anyone.
According to his relatives, emergency services informed them that the tree that fell had been infected with termites.
The incident killed Alex instantly.
