One year following the death of actor and singer Johnny Ruffo, his girlfriend Tahnee Sims paid tribute to him on Instagram.
She posted several images of the two of them, who first met at a dance studio.
The former Home and Away and X-Factor star died on November 10, 2023, due to a battle with brain cancer.
He was first diagnosed with cancer in 2017. He underwent treatment and was in remission before he was told that the disease had returned in 2020.
In her post, she wrote that she wished she could say something to him. She also thanked him for all of the love and adventure he had given her.

She stated that she was okay and that grief was a price that was paid for love.
Loved ones of Tahnee posted messages of support for her. One of them stated that he was with her every step of the way.
Another wrote that he was an inspiration and that they would continue to be remembered due to their beautiful story.
Someone else stated that he would be proud of her. One of the people who wrote said that he would be happy for her.
Another person stated that he believed that they would get back together someday. In a Channel Seven special, Johnny revealed that Tahnee saved his life in 2017.
During their time together, Tahnee and Johnny talked about how he slurred his speech during dinner one night.
After going to the hospital, he fell into a coma and was later revealed to have a brain tumor.
If they had not taken him to the hospital that night, he could have died within a couple of weeks.
