A shocking incident unfolded at Westfield Parramatta in Sydney’s west this afternoon, leaving a 17-year-old boy fighting for his life after a reported stabbing.
Emergency Services Rush to the Scene
Emergency services were called to the popular shopping centre, located on the corner of Campbell and Church streets, around 4pm today. When they arrived, they found the teenager with slash wounds to his arms and back.
A Lucky Escape
Miraculously, the teenager’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Paramedics treated him at the scene before rushing him to hospital in a stable condition.
What Led to the Attack?
According to police, the incident stemmed from an argument between the 17-year-old and a group of young people. The attack is believed to have been targeted, and police have assured the public that there is no threat to safety.
