A dramatic car crash has unfolded in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, with a Ferrari plowing into the former home of Australian businessman Mark Bouris in Watsons Bay.
The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, leaving a woman trapped in the wreckage and sparking a major emergency response.
The Crash: What Happened?
At around 1:15 pm, emergency services were called to the property on Robertson Place after reports of a car crash. The black Ferrari had veered off the road and crashed into a wall, causing significant damage. The driver, a 56-year-old man, suffered minor head injuries, while his 55-year-old female passenger was left with chest injuries and trapped in the wreckage.
Rescue Efforts Underway
NSW Fire and Rescue workers and NSW Ambulance paramedics quickly arrived at the scene and worked to free the trapped woman. After a painstaking rescue effort, she was finally freed sometime before 3 pm. Both the driver and passenger were taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in Darlinghurst as a precaution.
