A Brief History of Godfreys
Founded in 1931, Godfreys went on to become one of the world’s largest vacuum retailers and a leading supplier of floorcare and cleaning products in Australia and New Zealand.
Before its voluntary administration, the company employed around 600 staff across 141 stores, with an additional 28 operated by franchisees.
Now, under new ownership, Godfreys is poised to regain its position as a household name in the Australian retail landscape.
