The devastating Los Angeles wildfires have claimed another life, leaving a family in mourning.
95-year-old Dalyce Curry, affectionately known as “Momma Dee,” has been identified as one of the victims of the Easton Fire.
Her remains were found at her home in Altadena, California, after the property was ravaged by the fire.

Her loved ones remember her as a spirited and energetic person, who continued to live life to the fullest even at the age of 95.
As her granddaughter Loree Beamer-Wilkinson said, “You would not think she was 95 – she was very active.”

The Ongoing Threat of the Wildfires
The Los Angeles wildfires have already claimed at least 24 lives, and officials warn that the full extent of the damage is still unknown.
The heavy Santa Ana winds that fueled the disaster are expected to return, bringing with them the threat of additional fires.
Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin Crowley urged the community to remain vigilant, saying, “It’s very important that the community understands that these wind events are coming.”
