What’s on the Menu?
Aussies can look forward to trying out popular Wendy’s items like the Classic Double, Baconmator, and Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
You’ll also find double hand-breaded chicken tenders that are sure to satisfy your cravings. And the best part? Wendy’s has committed to using 100% Australian-sourced beef and chicken, so you can feel good about what you’re eating.
A New Player in Town
Wendy’s is not new to Australia, having previously attempted to enter the market back in 1982.
Although the chain had up to 11 locations in Melbourne before closing down, it’s now back and ready to take on established fast food giants like McDonald’s, KFC, and Burger King (or Hungry Jack’s as we know it in Australia).
With the backing of master franchisee Flynn Restaurant Group, which operates hundreds of restaurants in the US, Wendy’s is poised to make a big impact in the Australian fast food scene.
