A shocking and devastating knife attack has left two men dead in a quiet suburban street in Melbourne, prompting a massive manhunt for a third man who fled the scene.
What Happened?
Police rushed to a property on Observatory Street in Clyde North late on Thursday after receiving reports of a violent altercation.
When they arrived, they found two men suffering from stab wounds. Despite desperate attempts by emergency services to save them, both men were sadly declared dead at the scene.
The Search for the Third Man
Detectives are now urgently searching for a third man who is believed to have left the property before police arrived.
It’s thought that the three men knew each other, but their identities have not been formally released yet.
Investigation Underway
“A crime scene has been set up, and detectives are working to piece together what happened,” a spokesperson for Victoria Police said.
They’re also speaking to other people who were at the property at the time of the incident, trying to get to the bottom of this horrific attack.
