A morning swim turned tragic at one of the Central Coast’s most popular beaches when an elderly man lost his life on Wednesday.
What happened?
The heartbreaking incident unfolded around 8:20 AM at Terrigal Beach when beachgoers spotted a man in distress.
The swimmer, believed to be in his 70s, was quickly pulled from the water but was already unconscious.

Despite their best efforts performing CPR, the elderly swimmer couldn’t be saved.
