From Guest to Team Member: Ben Cousins’ Rise to Fame
Cousins has been winning over listeners with his hilarious ‘Bensday Wednesday’ segments, and now he’s making the move from guest to permanent team member.
Since hanging up his footy boots, the 46-year-old has been carving out a successful media career, sharing his AFL insights on radio and even fronting sports for Seven News Perth.
What to Expect from Ben Cousins on the Show
But what can we expect from Cousins on the show? According to hosts Curulli and Cahill, they plan to throw him “in the deep end” and come up with some unique and hilarious scenarios to keep listeners entertained.
“Ben has become a rascal brother to us, we love mucking around and having fun with him, and we know our fans love being in on the fun too,” they said.
Ben Cousins’ Exciting New Chapter
Cousins himself is thrilled to be joining the team, saying he’s had “great fun” getting into radio and has “a lot planned” for the show.
“I’m really keen to share all the things happening in my life and the great experiences I’m able to be a part of,” he said.
And don’t worry, he’s already planning his revenge on the hosts who have been “stitching him up” on air!
A New Chapter in Ben Cousins’ Journey
This latest move is just the latest step in Cousins’ road to redemption, following his highly publicised battle with drugs and consequent jail time.
