In a significant development, police have cracked down on a string of property crime offences across the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, including Rochedale and Logan.
Four individuals, including two young teenagers, have been charged in relation to these crimes.
The Arrests
The arrests were made after an investigation centre was set up earlier this month, resulting in the recovery of 34 stolen cars.
On Saturday night, police took a 21-year-old Woodridge man and a 20-year-old Morayfield woman into custody at an address in Windsor, Brisbane’s inner-north. A crime scene was declared, and a plethora of items were seized, including:
Methylamphetamine
A firearm
GHB
Ammunition
Drug utensils
A stolen vehicle
Stolen jewellery
Four sets of high-end vehicle keys
Three mobile phones
Approximately $5,000 in cash
Charges and Allegations
The 21-year-old man has been linked to numerous offences across southeast Queensland since December 2024 and has been charged with 34 offences. His charges include:
- Unlawful use of a motor vehicle
- Entering dwellings and committing crimes
- Armed robbery
- Damaging emergency vehicles
- Driving without a licence
- Common assault
- Possessing dangerous drugs and utensils
He has been refused bail and is expected to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday, February 24.
Teenagers Charged
A 14-year-old Durack boy has been charged with five counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, among other offences.
He has been refused bail and is expected to appear before the Brisbane Children’s Court on Monday, February 24.
A 13-year-old Durack boy was also arrested and charged with burglary, wilful damage, and stealing. He appeared before the Brisbane Children’s Court on Saturday, February 22, where police opposed bail.

Brisbane Region Acting Assistant Commissioner Rhys Wildman stated that police are committed to disrupting crime that harms the community.
“We will not stop until each offender is off the streets,” he said. “This result is the culmination of extensive police efforts, and I applaud the officers involved. We will be relentless in our efforts to disrupt, prevent, and investigate property crime to keep our communities safe.”
