A Sydney nurse has been charged after allegedly making shocking antisemitic threats in a video posted online.
The 26-year-old nurse, Sarah Abu Lebdeh, was arrested on Wednesday after attending Sutherland police station with her lawyer.
The Alleged Threats
The video, which was posted earlier this month, allegedly shows Abu Lebdeh and another individual, Ahmad ‘Rashad’, making threats to harm Israeli patients if they visited Bankstown hospital, where they both worked.
The disturbing video has sparked widespread outrage and concern.
Charges Laid
Abu Lebdeh has been charged with three serious Commonwealth offences, including:
- Threatening violence to a group
- Using a carriage service to threaten to kill
- Using a carriage service to menace, harass, or offend

The 26-year-old nurse has been released on conditional bail and is set to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on March 19.
