A devastating car crash has claimed the life of a man in his 60s in the Wollongong suburb of Dapto.
The incident occurred around 5 pm on Tuesday when the man's vehicle crashed into a suburban home near the intersection of Robert and Joan St.
A Fatal Scene Unfolds
The man was tragically trapped in the wreckage and despite efforts to save him, he died at the scene. NSW Police are still working to formally identify the victim.
The residents of the home were evacuated due to a gas leak caused by the crash, but fortunately, no one else was injured.
