A terrifying machete attack has left a man in his 40s with serious head and hand injuries in Western Sydney.
The Attack
The victim was found on Aurora Drive in Tregear just after 4am on Tuesday.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and treated him before taking him to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Police Hunt for Attacker
Police are now searching for the attacker and were seen outside a nearby unit on Bransfield St where the attack allegedly occurred.
No arrests have been made, and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
