A devastating crash at Old Reynella has left a community in shock after a pedestrian lost their life in the early hours of Monday morning.
The incident, which occurred on Main South Road, marks the 41st life lost on South Australian roads so far this year, a stark reminder of the importance of road safety.
What Happened
The crash happened around 5:20 am when a ute collided with a 43-year-old pedestrian.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man sadly succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the ute, a 58-year-old man from Port Noarlunga, miraculously escaped without physical harm.

Major Crash officers were quick to respond to the scene, conducting a thorough examination to piece together the events surrounding the fatal crash.
