A tragic three-vehicle crash has claimed the life of a 76-year-old man, leaving another driver in hospital.
The incident occurred on Wednesday when a white Kia Seltos lost control while traveling west on Johnson Rd at Larapinta, an industrial suburb in the outer south of Brisbane.
The car collided head-on with a van and another car traveling east towards Browns Plains at around 12 pm.
The 76-year-old man from Forest Lakes, who was a passenger in the Kia, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he later died on Thursday.
The 77-year-old female driver of the Kia, also from Forest Lakes, remains in hospital with serious injuries.
Investigations Underway
Queensland Police are investigating the crash and urging anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.
